Description of Hall Council Positions
President:
President - Coordinates all hall projects, organizes and leads weekly hall council meetings, attends RHF GA, represents the hall on a campus-wide level, motivates and serves hall council members and hall residents.
Vice President:
Assumes responsibilities of President in their absence, Attends RHF GA, Serves on Internal Affairs Committee.
Treasurer:
Supervises Hall Council account and approves Hall Council Spending, coordinates all fundraising efforts on the hall, keeps accurate and up to date records of hall council spending.
Secretary:
Takes Hall Council Meeting Minutes, Serve as Historian
Programming Officer:
Coordinate all recreational, educational, social, and cultural programs for Hall Council, Creates a fun, exciting and safe community within the hall, Serves on the RHF Programs Committee
Public Relations Officer:
Creates and displays all promotional materials for the Hall Council such as flyers, bulletin boards, and newsletters, Act as a Liaison between the hall residents, the Hall Council, and the campus
Community Representative:
Provides an important link between hall residents and Hall Councils, Voice the views of the residents on the hall to the Hall Council, help plan and execute all programs within the Hall, help to maintain communication between the Hall Council and the residents. Community Representatives are non-elected members of the Hall Council. Students may serve as Community Representatives from theme housing programs that they are a part of in their building.
